Meet the Partners

Chad is the son of Wayne and Margaret Dowd. He is a native of Texarkana, Arkansas, a graduate of Arkansas High School and a graduate of the University of Arkansas school of business. Chad returned home in 1997 after completing his accounting degree to serve the public and obtain his CPA license. Chad's favorite field of accounting is tax and considers it to be his specialty, although he is experienced in all fields of accounting. The growth and progress of the city of Texarkana is important to Chad. As a former member of the city board, Chad wants to see the city grow and prosper on both sides of the state line in order to help ensure a strong economy for generations to come for Texarkana.

Chad is married to Melanie Dowd and has three children, Beth Ann, Walker, and Mary Margaret. When he isn't in the office, Chad enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, cooking, and spending time with his family at the lake. Chad is a true Arkansan and is a huge supporter of the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Margaret was born in Mountain Home, Arkansas, and is a graduate from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in 1965. She has been in public accounting since 1980 as a CPA. Her work history is extensive serving on numerous audits for various companies, providing tax and accounting services for individuals, corporations, partnerships and non-profit organizations.

Margaret is married to Wayne Dowd of Texarkana, Arkansas and they have two sons, Chad Dowd and Joe Dowd, both of Texarkana, Arkansas. Margaret enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, fishing, playing golf, and camping.
